Huh. A bit harsh, I think. He explained himself pretty well quoting the suggestions from the developer to try, with the caveat that if that doesn't work, personally PM him for further review. That's a fair amount of interest and involvement, I'd say. So I have to ask, did you try that in a duplicate configuration, or save the league and try it with your existing league to examine results? That feedback is the develop part of development, testing the 'fixes', even if you don't see them as necessary. If you have, and it didn't work or it did and you're still unsatisfied for another reason, have you PMd him, with the knowledge it may take awhile to review? Although I think Matt may have a look before then, FWIW.
At least the potentially 'blind fan boy' is attempting to review the suggestions given to you. If you don't follow them and offer a review to further the research, then am I to conclude you're willing to complain, but not participate? I really don't want to start a pissing match; it won't end well. I'm looking for progress on one front or the other and that takes involvement across the board to ensure it has a possibility of occurring. Labeling someone trying to assist in that process isn't helping the cause any more than banging on a gum machine, complaining you shouldn't have to put a nickel in to get some.
