In attachment you will see the rating stars and what the player is asking for. This is the FA screen. It's at the start of ST of year 25 into my standard ML format, fictional player league.

A few players (4-5) you see here were asking for amounts double to triple these amounts when FA hit the November before. The top player is a 30 year old closer who put up great numbers. He was asking for, I believe, 12 million/season just 5 months prior. He's now asking for about 8M less and he probably won't get that, if he even signs.

I guess I'm not totally sure why they're not signed. The teams just don't have the money? I just happened to be at this stage of my game and took a screen shot. This particular year isn't all that bad for what I'm talking about, as I said there are only 4-5 of them. Some years have 8-12 guys who have to significantly drop their asking price just to get signed, and if they do sign, it's at well below market price for how good they are.

So, teams are getting an All Star player at 1/4 of their market value. It's just not realistic.

I can't believe I'm the only one w/ the issue.

Perhaps some of you don't know what you're looking for?
