I was in the baseball-covering business on the west coast when this guy made six September starts for the 1985 Giants, half of them against the Dodgers, and I have no earthly remembrance of having ever heard of him before.

Worse yet, I was at the Angels' camp for two weeks in '86 and have no memory of Whitehouse!
