Jim Holmes 1906
After three pitching appearances for the Philadelphia Athletics in September 1906, Holmes was back in the minor leagues (with Augusta) until 1908, when Brooklyn used him in thirteen games, including one start. (This image is from spring training, 1908, with the Superbas; it is unclear what team the cap is from that he is wearing.) He finished his major league career that season with a record of 1-4, and then pitched in the minor leagues through 1913.
