Lefty O'Doull's historical fielding info only includes his early years as a failed relief pitcher (1919-1923) and not his later outfield numbers (1928-1934) when he was a dominating hitter in the National League. This usually results in him being let go at an early age without the opportunity to terrorize opposing pitchers as he would if he could be inserted into the outfield.
