Henry Thielman 1902
Thielman's major league pitching career began with the New York Giants in 1902. After two starts in which he lasted just six innings total, he was released on May 20th, but he was signed by the Cincinnati Reds and compiled a record of 9-15 with them through the rest of the season. (The image below is from his time with the Reds.) In 1903, he began the season with the Brooklyn Superbas, but on May 18th, after three starts and one relief appearance, he was released. He then pitched for the Jersey City Skeeters of the Eastern League through the 1906 season.
Edited to add: On closer inspection, the uniform shirt appears to be from Manhattan College, a team that he played on prior to his major league days. The image is from the 1903 edition of How to Play Base Ball by Tim Murnane, so Thielman could have been wearing this uniform in spring training with the Giants or when he was trying out for the Reds.
