I'm getting zombie players.

In a historical career game there are a few players I don't want included in my game. When I retire them, no problem (though I assume this will take up space overtime, making my game slower). When I delete them, however, the next season when all the new players come in these deleted players show up in the free agent pool, one year older, and with all stats from their real major league career.
