Thanks, keonleafs, for your raising the question about the Rick Duncan identification and coming up with Gene Dusan as the alternative. I had doubts about Duncan because the bottom of his ears are detached from his face, which is not the case of the player in the Topps Vault photo. Also, it seemed like the only logical point when Duncan would have been in the Reds' camp would have been in the spring of 1979. The only info I could pick up from newspaper research was that he was working out with the Indianapolis Indians that spring before reporting to the Nashville Sounds. But I hadn't figured out who else that Cincinnati Red might be.
