update: i've had it happen recently and i "started" each of those games and it showed the right Pitcher as expected from rotation and who is selected in the pitching UI. i then selected sim "Game" from the bottom of broadcase mode and all was good in the world.
i haven't tried simming through a next-day double header since what happened in my orginal posts. i don't intend to, now. LoL
