1984 Detroit Tigers (#33) 4, 2010 San Francisco Giants (#96) 2
MVP: Howard Johnson (Det 1984) .375/.423/.708, 2 HR, 6 RBI
The Tigers looked to be on their way to an easy victory with wins in the first three games (two of which were big), but Juan Uribe's walk-off homer in Game 4 avoided the sweep, and Matt Cain kept the Tigers down in Game 5. However, Milt Wilcox took no-hitters into the 7th inning of both Games 3 AND 6 to help the Tigers avoid a collapse. (Game 3 ended up a 2-hitter, and Game 6 a 3-hitter. Wilcox did give up a run in the 3rd inning of Game 6 on 2 walks, a fielder's choice and a sac fly)
