That's related to this idea that the AI gets a crack at these minor leaguers before we ever see them. That really reduces organizational control in a bad way.

This is a great idea! I would love to use historical minors, but the inability to maintain control over players after affiliate changes is a deal-killer. Hopefully, this suggestion will be noticed by the development team (since it is more than a database issue maybe it should have its own thread).
