Sorry for the problems. Can you start other games, such as quickstart games, games with fewer leagues, etc...?
Most likely it is an install issue, or your computer doesn't have enough disk space left. Please verify that you do have adequate space left for saved games, and that your folder that it was installed to has full access permissions.
You may try re-installing the game as it's possible something didn't install correctly. If you still have problems, I would suggest going through our support system as we may be able to better guide you through your specific issues (
