The question is finally cleared up. I was about ready to question the jersey number, but I then stopped and took a look in my 1984 Baseball Dope Book and they had Steve Brown as being #36 not #38 as per Baseball Reference Dot Com. That's what threw me off. The fella on there doesn't make very many mistakes but here is one of the very few. I have to get ahold of him.
We need to be very thankful for having Merk on here to answer questions and direct...he's REALLY on the ball!!!
