Just over a month ago someone posted a nice photo of pitcher, Dick Conger from his year with the Pittsburgh Pirates. (see page 1446). Does anyone have good photos to post of him with his other teams (Philadelphia Phillies and Detroit Tigers)?
Conger's MLB career went from 1940 and 1943, until he entered military service during World War Two. He was only 22 when he pitched his last game in 1943, but Conger was one of those vets who was never able to resume his MLB career after the war.
