Sandy Koufax 1955 and Don Drysdale 1956
One more "detail" from my Larsen Perfect Game photos posted at SI.com today.
Their caption is correct. The Dodger pitcher running pre-game in the Yankee outfield is indeed Sandy Koufax. But standing closer to the camera, wearing number 53? That's rookie Don Drysdale (and next to him is either #40 Roger Craig or #41 Clem Labine).
