With league settings and totals set to normal levels it is rare. Maybe a bit more than normal because injuries are still not at real life levels. But it is rare.

Now the 56 game hitting streak is ultra rare. It can be done but I have never had one anywhere close in my leagues and my time spent here has shown that only a handful of people have posted about them.

Now saying that...
I did have a player have two 30+ hitting streaks in one season in a league that only had 120 games a season.

I also had a player with a RBI streak of 27 games which shatters the MLB record.
