Problem with calculating free agency eligibility

In our league, we are having problems with the game saying that a player will be a free agent after the season instead of being re-newed. Our settings are 5 years to be a free agent and 98 days make a service year, 111 days in a regular season.

Take a look at Gardas in my screenshot. He's got 46 days this year and 4 yrs, 43 days for his career. Clearly when he hits 98 days this year, he will not reach 5 years. He will fall 3 days short. So he will not be a free agent after this season.

I have a feeling it has something to do with the game not recognizing that the clock stops at 98 days and calculating it through the end of the season.
