And I did separate out some variations. If one were to literally interpret touch as he-hit-the-ball-with-the-bat, then Bryant hit the ball 176 + 276 = 452/603AB = 74.9% or 3 times a game. This doesn't include any balls "hit" that were ruled foul. With foul "hits" added at a seriously low rate 1/10 ab he literally hit the ball in 85% of all at bats.
