The research team has, in the past, issued calls for help in researching and updating the database. I imagine they'll do so again. Keep an eye on the forums.

All of this is subject to the time energy and passion we get from researchers as well as setting priorities as to what leagues most people want to play.
How many people are actually going to buy the game just to play the NAHL for example? Probably no one.
If there aren't enough folks to create the leagues and keep them up to date, not to mention researching rules and schedules etc. then the leagues can't be made playable.
We try to make as many leagues as possible playable, and we'll surely get to more in the future, but this is something that takes a lot of time and effort and in the end, there's not that much reward from spending scare resources on obscure leagues, so we have to depend on volunteers. If we don't get the volunteers to cover specific leagues, we don't get to include the leagues.
