Player Morale Issues

In the preseason, since we are not able to grow our teams above 23 players, I sent down Keith Kinkaid, Cory Schneider, and Taylor Hall to make room for Lappin, Wedgewood and Blackwood to give them some exhibition games.

Instantly, Hall's morale went from "OKAY" to "ANGRY" because I sent him down. Kinkaid went to "UNHAPPY" and Schneider interestingly remained at "OKAY." Both Kinkaid and Hall were unhappy because of "wrong level." All three players returned to "OKAY" when I returned them to the NHL team but there's a problem with two of the players that I sent down.

Wedgewood, who was previously "OKAY" at the AHL level is now "ANGRY" for wrong level, and Blackwood is now "UNHAPPY." I would think that this attitude would definitely effect contract talks and potentially effect their development, yes?

Preseason roster size is a big issue right now. Since the roster size adjustment seems to be a big issue, is there any way that the player morale model can be disabled for the preseason? These effects are with all of my players at the start of a game with morale of OKAY (which also doesnt make much sense but it is what it is) with the possibility of having a variety of players at different morale levels one or two years into a PtG season, I could see this being a much bigger issue.
