Underrated, Unheralded Jay Bell
Usually Unheralded Jay Bell (photo this page - section 29,503) made a couple of all-star teams as a second baseman and hit over .300 once and over .280 a few times.
He had over 1,950 hits, played in over 2,000 MLB games, hit 195 career home runs (clubbing 38 HRs in 1999), and he scored the winning run in Game Seven of the 2001 World Series to defeat the New York Yankees, stop their streak of world's titles at 3, and to give the Arizona Diamondbacks the 2001 world's title in just their 4th year of existence.
