Go to the first day of the schedule(schedule editor) and add those games to Oct. 2 ,after that is complete,delete the games scheduled on opening day and keep doing this till the first week has been moved. You can do three days at a time if there are three game series (see the schedule editor,at the bottom make the choice,regular season and number of games in series).
I usually do this the other way around because sometimes my seasons start too late.

So it is all manual, no way to just move it back a week?
