During the 2019 whl bantam draft, I had to many contracts so I traded my last 3 picks to someone else for one of their picks in next year's draft. So that's all good. Then, during the import draft I simmed the draft up to my first pick, but didn't feel any of the players were worth me doing the work of releasing players so I tried to trade my two picks to someone else for one of theirs next year. Rather than get an immediate response, it sent an email and closed the trade screen. I ended up just forfeiting my two picks so I could finish the day. That next day, I got an email saying they accepted my trade. So I got an extra first round chl import draft pick for 2 picks in the draft that had happened already
