Database Names Checked Working Backwards From Present Day, I Take It?

This isn't a typo, per se, but it's pretty annoying to keep seeing "Pete Rose Sr.", "Mel Stottlemyre Sr." and so on, when obviously nobody referred to these players as such when they were active. The original Ken Griffey and Tony Gwynn and so forth should be properly referred to as such, and let their spawn carry around the "Jr." suffix (which Griffey Jr. wore quite proudly, of course), rather than retro-encumbering the originals.

Weirdly, Lew Krausse Jr. is listed as such. But I don't know how many correct exceptions there are to the rule in the database. All I know is that seeing "Pete Rose Sr" in the leader boards is even more annoying than seeing Rose, himself. (Also, presumably due to this screw-up, the AI wants "Rose Sr" to wear uniform #60 instead of his #14.)

And then there's the case of the Ross Grimsleys, where Ross Jr. was never referred to as such during his career, at least not that I can remember. (Presumably because his dad was such a non-entity that many had forgotten his career.) But calling Ross Sr "Ross Sr" is silly; I doubt that if you dug up game stories from 1953 or whenever, there would be any such reference to Grimsley. He would simply be called "Grimsley", no doubt.

Thanks in advance.
