Sounds like you're getting one awards news story for each of the CHL leagues and the CHL itself, we'll get that fixed.
The goalie is a data issue with that particular goalie - he was created by re-using a duplicated player record for a defenceman who happened to have a very high shot rating, and the skater ratings weren't removed properly. It'll be fixed in the next update.
