Longtime pitcher and coach
Jackie Brown passed away yesterday (January 8, 2017) at the age of 73. Brown pitched for the Senators/Rangers, Indians and Expos in his 7 year major league pitching career. He served on the coaching staffs of the Rangers, White Sox and the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. Jackie was originally signed by the Phillies in 1962. They released him in 1968 and he was immediately picked up by the Senators, for whom he made his major league debut in 1970.
The Vault releases have shown Jackie with the Senators and Rangers, thus far (JC971-974, KC655-656, KC783)--if there are earlier releases, I don't have those marked. The B&W Rangers photo below accompanied
an obituary, while the Expos images are of Jackie's 1978 Topps card and a team issued postcard from the Trading Card database.
