Pittsburgh Penguins (43-29-1) at Montreal Canadiens (45-25-4)

We are facing the Penguins for the 3rd time this season, we beat them 4-0 at home and won 4-1 in Pittsburgh, so looking for our 3rd win. Montreal are currently in 3rd spot in the Atlantic, 2 points behind Buffalo and they have a game in hand. We remain 2 points ahead of Boston and we have a game in hand on them.

Tonight we highlight LD Yegor Berestnev. The 28 year old came over the Canadiens in a trade on November 26th, 1980 to bolster our offense from the back end. This season he has 10 goals and 46 assists for 56 points. For his career the strong playmaker has 191 career games of which 30 were with the Calgary Flames before the trade. He has 30 career NHL goals, 158 points, 97 PIMs and a +14 rating. Berestnev is 2nd amoung NHL defenseman for career points,

The Penguins are currently holding the 3rd seed in the Metropolitan Division with 87 points. The Penguins are ranked 3rd on the PK with a 87.1% success rate. A weakness, is the Penguins give up a lot of shots, they average 29 against a game which ranks the 18th in the NHL.

The Penguins will start G Ernie Stockwell, he has 5 wins in 9 games with a .910 save %. Montreal will start G Mike Blackshear, he has 37 wins in 60 games with a .905 save %.
