1st Round, 24th overall: C Herman Hedberg, the 19 year old 6'1" 224 lbs Two-way forward from Sweden. In 65 games with the Gatineau Olympiques of the QMJHL he had 40 goals and 92 points with 132 PIMs and a +20 rating.

2nd Round, 54th overall: LD Tyler Duclos, the 19 year old 6'2" 232 defensive defenceman from Montreal, Que. In 63 games with the Halifax Mooseheads of the QMJHL had 16 goals and 51 points with 94 PIMs and a -1 rating.

3rd Round, 84th overall: LW Josef Kramar, the 19 year old 5'11" 211 lbs two way forward from CZE. In 68 games with the Victoriaville Tigres of the QMJHL he had 53 goals and 89 points with 99 PIMs and a +24 rating.
