Montreal did not have a good last 20 games, They got only 11 out of a possible 40 points. To make the playoffs I am not sure even 22-0 for 94 points would get them into the playoffs, so we could consider our selves sellers at the deadline.
| Goalies | Age | Wins | Losses | T/OL | SO | GAA | SV% |
| Nestor, Wilf | 27 | 22 | 24
| 5 | 3 | 2.64 | 0.913 |
| Janku, Marcel | 31 | 0 | 5 | 0 | 0 | 4.93 | 0.865 |
| Mertel, Stefan | 28 | 1 | 4 | 0 | 0 | 3.22 | 0.892 |
The remainder of this season is survival for these goalies as we are giving up a ton of shots.
Wilf Nestor is hanging in there despite the terrible amount of shots on goal.

Montreal brought
Oscar Breuer back up from the AHL and sent down
Kevin Steinberg. Breuer despite his low ice time was much more effective.

We have gone from a very veteran forward core to a very young forward group. Montreal has 5 players at 20 years of age or younger up front. All 5 look like they could be effective players in the near future with
Kramar,
Archer and
Hendriksson already showing signs of being regulars.
