Ernie Fazio 1962
One of the most sought-after collegiate ballplayers of 1962, he got $110,000 out of the brand new Colt 45s. The majors were too much for the 5'7" infielder and he ended up with the '66 A's (and in camp in '67, in front of the Dexter photog, who didn't exactly focus).
