It appears that the Canadiens improved both offensively and defensively in the last 20 games. The PP is still a concern but we are better 5 on 5 then we were.
| Goalies | Age | Wins | Losses | T/OL | SO | GAA | SV% |
| Nestor, Wilf | 29 | 39 | 23 | 4 | 5 | 2.13 | 0.919 |
| Mertel, Stefan | 31 | 10 | 5 | 1 | 4 | 2.22 | 0.906 |
Although the numbers are pretty good,
Nestor did have a patch were he struggled in the final 20 games. He did match his career high for wins, but we will need him in the playoffs.

Joey Lachance led the team offensively from the backend. Lachance had 4 goals and 25 points in 34 games with Montreal after the trade on January 7th. That would equate to a 60 point season over 82 games.

Montreal made a trade at the deadline to get LW
Kevin Forfar and it seemed to make a difference as we did improve our scoring. Forfar had 8 goals and 16 points in 22 games after the trade, that would equate to a 30 goal and 60 point season over 82 games, but he certainly wasn't as effective in Montreal's system as he was with the Senators. The 39 goals and 73 points were career highs, but he was on pace for a 41 goal/77 point season with Ottawa.
