Normally he'd move to one on June 30, but if he slips through the offseason without doing that, he should go around November 1 (although I think there's a chance he'll go back for another USHL season as well, or back to Finland, before starting college in 2018.) Your chance of convincing him to abandon college and sign with you will get higher the older and more talented he gets, and he already starts with pretty high ratings, so you'll probably be able to sign him next offseason.
