Good point. The only position players on the 1927 Cubs who were left-handed hitters were Charley Grimm, Earl Webb, Cliff Heathcote, and Tommy Sewell. Among those four, Heathcote is the only one who comes close to resembling the player holding the bat in the sequence of Cub photos. I flipped the photo so he could be seen properly as a left-handed batter, but it still didn't quite seem to be a match with Heathcote's face, so I'm stumped on this one.
