Player development is about playing time, so how much does playoff playing time matter for young/minor league players?
MLB club out of playoffs do you send stud young player who has used option for the season down to AAA to get more at bats?
Low minors when you need as much time to see who develops... does everyone or almost everyone make the playoffs so that there are more at bats/batters faced?
