IPA TOP DEFENDERS FOR 2053
The Islandian Pro Alliance announced the 2053 Golden Glove teams today, honoring the defensive players with the golden touch...most of the honorees were first-time recipients... the Ruthlandian Union had two players that had won trophies previously... Fort Benton center fielder Freddie Woodruff has garnered three Golden Gloves and Middlefield shortstop Stan Radzikowski has been named to the team his first two seasons in the IPA... topping the Tycobbian Golden Glovers was Darwin Tard, first sacker for Rolling Hills, who racked up his third award this season... three players have been chosen twice: South Fork third baseman Pete Arnold, Colchester shortstop Ernie Larmon and Fairfax left fielder Downtown Wyatt.
