Why are CHL players "forced" to play out their contracts in-game? NHL teams can take "their" players out of juniors at any year they see as appropriate - why are European clubs "discriminated" against?
I understand that some players would say "no" if they're expecting an NHL call-up soon enough, but I don't think that too many juniors without NHL contracts would reject a multi-million-dollar offer from SKA SPb if it came, would they? Is there a coding issue that forbids this sort of thing?
