Before the Expos got him, he was Rangers property. Rangers loaned him to the Miracle who were then a no-affiliate team in the Florida State League.I saw Hurst pitch a few times in a Miracle uniform before the Rangers moved him to AA Tulsa and then he went to the Expos in the Oil Can Boyd deal
