The champions of season 1 goes to the Tallahassee Chanticleers. Tallahassee won the division with a 95-67 record, and defeated second place finisher Pembroke Pines in the World Series.
Tallahassee was led by Cy Young Winner/MVP, Tony Gaston. Gaston, a 28 year old RH out of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, won 29 games to go with a 2.42 ERA.
The Chanticleers also claimed the league's batting champion in 3B Alex Hernandez. Hernandez hit .362 with 31 doubles, and 18 triples. Hernandez, a Key West native, was drafted in the 3rd round of the inaugural draft.
No no hitters were tossed in 1912.
