They are partying in St. Petersburg, as the Parrots swept the Oakland Park Mammoths in the WS. Oakland Park and St. Pete battled to the end for the regular season title, as a game 163 was needed in order to determine 1st place.

Jody Anderson, was the hero for St. Pete. Anderson, a left handed SP, was 2-0 in the WS with a 2 CG's and a 0.50 ERA. Anderson finished the reg. season with a 25-16 record.

It was Oakland Park's second consecutive season winning the reg. season but falling in the championship series.

Pitcher of the Year Award: Aaron Day of Oakland Park. 27-13 record and a 1.91 ERA. Day's 1st major award.

MVP: Day also took home the MVP trophy for the season.

Preston Parker may have been robbed of an award. Parker (TAM) finished the season with a 29-12 record and a 1.87 ERA. Parker has won 83 games in 3 seasons.
