ST. PETERSBURG- Championship number 5!!! Manager Bill Muzi is putting together quite the career. He has reached "Legendary" status as manager of the Parrots, has won Manager of the Year 5 times, and doesn't look to slow down anytime soon. It is the third straight championship for Muzi and the Parrots. St. Pete knocked off Tallahassee again. Tallahassee has reached the playoffs 5 times, but has only won the championship once.

The POTY and MVP award both go to, shocker, Tony "Pumpkin" Gaston. Gaston, carving out his own legendary career has now won the POTY award 5 times, and the MVP 4 times. Gaston posted a 28-10 mark with a 2.06 ERA. On top of it, he signed a 2 year extension to stay in Tallahassee. Gaston, at the age of 36, is reaching the twilight of his career.

Pat "Sundown" Anderson of Tallahassee wins his first batting title with a .351 AVG. A lifetime hitter of .304 hopes to continue his hot hitting next season.
