ALL-STAR SHOWCASE SET FOR WED IN TARANTO
All of the stars of the Islandian Pro Alliance will be on display this coming Wednesday afternoon at the Palazzo di Sport in Taranto, the site of the 54th All-Star Classic... 52 of the IPA elites will clash to decide who has the best talent in 2054... it's been a one-sided affair thus far with the Tycobbian Stars topping the Ruthlandian Stars 35 times in the 53 previous clashes... last year the TU All-Stars prevailed 3-2 in 10 innings and they have rolled to victory the last four years in a row.

The Middlefield Roosters led all Ruthlandian teams with four All-Stars on the squad... the Midway Wolves and Turon Typhoons placed four players each on the Tycobbian Stars... and Elnora had three players chosen for the RU Stars... the same number as the South Fork Stallions on the TU Stars.

The Tycobbian Stars will be sparked by 9-time All-Star Paulo Teixeira of the San Alejo Montaneros, 6-time All-Star Matt Bell, also from the Monties, Richard Nelms, 5-time All-Star from Rolling Hills and 4-time All-Star Norishige Ito of the Midway Wolves... heading up the Ruthlandian Stars are 8-time All-Star James Long of the Middlefield Roosters, 6-time honoree Ralph Hawk of Ranford and 5-time All-Star Johnny Wyatt, also of the Roosters.

One one rookie was selected this season to the Islandian Pro Alliance All-Star teams... Denton City's 24-year reliever Burnell Kelley was named to the Tycobbian Stars.
