Have you ever noticed how OOTP often tosses you a little surprise or two when it comes to the draft class announcement? So many times, I will look at the players OOTP highlights and say, yuck, this is a down year, or okay, nothing exciting there. Then I hold the draft and the first two or three picks blow me away. Just finished year 3 of my league last night and will begin season 4 tonight. The 1988 draft was a perfect example of OOTP providing a nice surprise. The highlighted draft class was way short of stellar, but imagine my surprise when I see the number one pick in the draft was--Frank Robinson, followed by the number 2 pick Tom Seaver. Love stuff like this.
