Hey y'all, I've been doing a Grand Campaign of sorts, and I've figured out a work-around to have some minor league action prior to every team getting minors in the 1920's and 30's.

Quite simply:
1. Create a minor league at the start of the season, manually link them up to a franchise, and play the season as normal.
2. At the end of the world series - BEFORE THE OFFSEASON STARTS - unaffiliate the league, disable buying players (if it's a partial minors), free agency, posting, whatever else.
3. Start the offseason, let the minor league database load, then re-affiliate and re-link.

It's a little annoying, but it's been working so far. It's the same concept that keeps the Federal League around or any other minor leagues that are going defunct as of the next year.
