Douglas Sydnor was an outfielder with the New York Black Yankees in 1944. The photo is from the Hartford Courant of June 18, 1944.

Seamheads.com correctly lists him as Sydnor. Earlier publications like THE NEGRO LEAGUES BOOK, by Lester and Clark, listed him as (unknown first name) Sydney.
