Maury Wills 1959
Love this shot which I just added to the home museum, not certain why - possibly because you don't see a lot of images of Wills in portrait or at least non-action during his original incarnation with the Dodgers.
And of course that's Curt Gowdy interviewing him in his first year as the play-by-play man on the then-brand new NBC Game of the Week, 1966. The two would later become colleagues on the NBC Baseball team in the '70s.
Oh by the way, if I'd known we were getting rid of you-know-who I wouldn't have wasted all that time moronically removing most of my images ;-)
