2016 Post-Race Analysis: China(3/16)
That was Qatar all over again. Having Vidal in the pits early to repair that front win was not helpful, but in a dry race without any drama, we still have no shot. The fact that most teams had soo much time preparing their cars for this season, getting reliability way up, really hurts us here...
On the strategy side... we may have to look into the hard compound. I hate it, but we do not make enough hay on the softer tyres to make the additional pitstop work. Worth a try next time.
Development Report:
The second, upgraded version Mk 2a gearbox should be available juust in time for the Portugese GP in two weeks time, and we will start putting the best pieces on Iker's car for the dry races. Sorry Jeremy, I know you hate me but... what can I do?
Engine performance is a big issue, and the next project as we put the rear wing project on ice for now. A new engine won't be ready soon, and the performance jump won't be that big, but there are alot of engine heavy tracks on the calendar, so we got to get onto that.
