Post-Race Analysis: 2016 South African GP(7/16)
P18 and P20 looks bad. If you subtract the 16 seconds of the tyre change mistake... we are P15, maybe P14 with Vidal which looks WAAY better on paper. That race was a step forward in my opinion. At least for Vidal. Else, there is not much to talk about. Same strategy, better results. At least better than being P19 and P20 without any hope... Compared to the qualifying pace, we are losing less time in the race to the front runners and the midfield, which gives us some hope.
Jeremy of course is now the poor lad with the bad car, and that is mostly because of his engineer not being able to nurse the car home with the weight strapped... and Vidal earned the parts with his performance in Germany.
Development Report:
Some more engine performance, and we will try to get a new rear wing iteration ready for our home Grand Prix and it will be another Jenny Whitehouse special part. It will all depend how her magical "I have a legendary design idea that I'm not going to share"-idea will work. We had some big success with the engine, let's try it again.
