Post-Race Analysis: 2016 British GP(8/16)
That was a bit of a bummer. We were on the wrong tyre to be honest. The soft rubber was a good bit faster and the other runners made that one work nearly as long as we did the medium tyre... and still 'only' 13 seconds off a points finish. Learned something today.
One thing I'm thinking of for some races now. I think when it comes to tyre heating and tyre degradation, our chassis is solid... but compared to the other cars, we look like we are below average. Can't be helped , we had to take the suppliers we could get.
By the way, Jeremy is now very unhappy with his car and is considering offers... that would be a pretty big problem...
Development Report:
Deceleration time. We will get a throw-away brake in a couple of days and then will try to build a Whitehouse special, hopefully in time for the Italian Grand Prix. All of her special parts have been a success so far, so we'll keep this up. Those will be the final iterations for 2016 as we lack the research facilities to push further so...
The factory will be ready in a weeks time, which will give us a shot at really pushing the car a bit more as we can employ more engineers to work on performance and reliability, and we have some room for growth there.
