Brazilian GP: Race Ticker

November 20th, 2016

It is wet, it is foggy, it is raining, it is absolutely horrible weather... great day for racing here in Rio de Janeiro as we have the World Champion on pole position, leading a pack of 20 runner that start on the intermediate compound of tyre. Many expect the sun to come out, but the same forecasters expected a sunny qualifying before the race weekend so...

Lap 1:
All eyes and hopes are on Ana Oliveira to deliver something special, but she has two hungry Rossini cars behind her and her teammate Lipponen also in her mirror, and the Panther's want to improve on their bad qualifying!

The red lights are on... one.. two... three... four... five...

AND IT'S LIGHTS OUT AND AWAY WE GO!

ALL THREE FRONT RUNNERS WITH GREAT STARTS! CHAPMAN COMES AWAY CLEAN, BUT HOLTZ AND OLIVEIRA EXIT THE CHICANE SIDE BY SIDE ONTO THE BACK STRAIGHT... AND OLIVEIRA GOT THE SPEED... FOR NOW!

And it only was for now as sector two belonged to Holtz and she got Oliveira on the outside!

1. Chapman 2. Holtz +0.7 3. Oliveira +4.7
Woodford P16 +10.8
Vidal P18 +11.3

Oliveira loses out to Wexler and the two Steinmann are driving away with rapid pace from the pack.

Lap 4:

1. Chapman 2. Holtz +2.1 3. Wexler +13.6

1. Chapman 2. Holtz +3.3 3. Wexler +16.5
Vidal P13 +48.1
Woodford P14 +53.6

Lap 14:
