We lost a points finish when Vidal and Woodford failed miserably in the first stint and were barely able to hang on to the end of the field. Iker was up to P14 but then was not able to defend his position or hit any apex... and fell all the way back together with Woodford.
After that, we got the most out of the intermediate tyres and ran them till there was little to no rubber left, which got us to P11 and P15, but there was little to gain from there. De Graaf was between 2 and 5 seconds in front of Vidal, but we lacked the raw speed to get close enough to him to get a slipstream.
Development Report:
Things are happening. Ten days of factory time left till Dubai, and then a little bit after the last race has ended to get some performance out of the new parts. Then, we have to concentrate on the new chassis...
